Limit the "Choose Table" list for roles when importing

On the Import/Export option under the Customize tab, you can Import from the Clipboard and you get to Choose a table. As an Administrator, where do I go to limit that list for different roles?

     The tables  you don't want them to see, do they need access to these tables after the import? If not you could set the permission level to be table specific

       Yes, I'd like them to view, edit and add to these tables.  I can alter these permissions for each role for specific tables.  It is just that the tables I have given "add record" access to doesn't quite resemble the list available for import.

         I'm not sure if you can do with the normal import wizard. You could try creating your own import using API_ImportFromCSV.  With that you can choose which table the import will go into.

          Found it :

          You can remove the ability to 'import' data by changing the Role Permissions.  Go to your role, and select the User Interface tab of the role permissions page.  Check the box 'Hide multi-record operations' for ALL Tables - this will hide the 'Import/Export' option for that particular table.

             Be aware that this function also turns off Grid Edit for the tables you have hidden the multi-record operations.

               Unfortunately yes.  I would prefer if the Import table list and the grid edit capabilities were two separate functions but I haven't found anything else to suggest otherwise so far.  Does anyone know if this can be done?
